However, starting from the 1960s, an approach based on information theory developed from various studies of classical communication over quantum channels. This has led to many significant advances in quantum physics such as quantum cryptography, quantum control, and quantum computation. In this talk, I would like to provide some perspectives on what it means to describe quantum systems in terms of the information they contain and how this information can be manipulated. In particular, I would like to discuss incompatible quantum measurements and how they lead to the different types of quantum correlations. Place:S102, Gongguan Campus, NTNU |
