| Time：1120913 (Wed.) 14:20~16:20 Speaker：Prof.徐嘉鴻(Chia-Hung Hsu) 國家同步輻射研究中心/National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center Title：Scientific Opportunities @ NSRRC Abstract：National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC), the biggest large-scale shared research facility in Taiwan, operates two accelerator light sources – the Taiwan Light Source (TLS) and the Taiwan Photon Source (TPS), two Taiwanese beamlines in SPring-8, Japan and a cold neutron triple-axis spectrometer located in the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO), Australia. The experimental techniques based on synchrotron radiation and neutrons are generally categorized into imaging, diffraction/scattering, and spectroscopy and are powerfully tools to explore the physical and chemical properties of all kinds of materials under various environments and the mechanisms behind.
