A strong induced anomalous Hall effect is found and it reverses the sign at the compensation temperature of TbIG and at the even lower temperature. This unusual behavior is attributed to the presence of the two Tb and Fe magnetic sublattices of the TbIG structure, which leads to complicated proximity effects in the Pt layer. The characterization by PNR revealed an induced magnetic moment in the Pt layer at low temperature (7 K). This Pt layer couples ferromagnetically to the TbIG thin film will strongly influence the observed anomalous Hall effect. Place:B101, Gongguan Campus, NTNU |
