2020 NTNU/SFU PHYSICS UNDERGRADUATE SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM IN CANADA!
In partnership with Simon Fraser University’s (SFU) Department of Physics in Burnaby, Department of Physics, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is pleased to announce the NTNU/SFU Summer Student Research Program for Summer 2020. The selected student will undertake a 10-week summer research term at SFU.
The program will last from 2020 June 22nd to 2020 August 30th.
Eligibility
Students must:
• Be enrolled in the undergraduate physics program at NTNU at the time of application;
• Have completed the first year of the undergraduate physics program at NTNU at the time of travel (Summer 2020).
Requirements
The student will be required to submit a report describing their overall experience to the Department of Physics before the end of the Fall 2021 term.
Application Process
Submit the following to hsieh.flora@ntnu.edu.tw:
• NTNU/SFU research exchange application form
• An official academic transcript
• Two academic reference letters, with at least one from NTNU
• A 250-500 word statement of interest, including answers to the following questions:
o Why do you want to participate in this program?
o Which SFU research project listed interests you most, and why?* (https://advance.science.sfu.ca/physics/projects/exchange/science_projects.php?search=*)
o What relevant experience would you bring to a physics research project?
